Hello Team,

I want to replace the gasket in my screw cap on the top of my chlorinator because of a water leak, but all the labeling on the vertical tube is faded out (where I would insert the chlorine pucks). This means when I try to shop for one I won't have anything to cross-reference to make sure I'm buying a gasket that fits. Does anyone have advice on how I should proceed?

Thanks again

Great advise above!!! In the end, tab feeders are useless but for vacation days away when you don't have a SWG.

But, post a pic of it. There's only a few brands/models out there being used.

pjt and jeffchap thanks for your quick reply!! I learned the TFP method from this forum (thank God) and use it all the time and to clarify, I don't use chlorine pucks. The leak I'm experiencing comes from that vertical chlorinator tube, specifically that top screw on cap.

Toxophilite, attached is a pic of the item of interest. Unfortunately no labeling and no engraved language on the PVC piping, the only hints are my builder Robertson Pools installed with Pentaire kit about 5yrs ago. Thanks again for weighing in too on tab feeders and SWGs.

I had the same thing happened to me with my previous pool (before I found TFP) and removed it. Even if you don't choose to install a SWG, you might consider simply removing it instead of repairing it.
