Recently purchased a home with above ground pool. Previous owner obviously did not test water chemistry just added chlorine and clarifiers. Here is what I am getting using the TF-Pro test kit.
CH = 125
PH = 6.6
Chlorine = 0
When I test ALC, I use 25ml test water, add 2 drops R-0007, stir then add 5 drops R-008, the test water is bright red!
Does this mean my water is high or low in ALC?
Thank you,

It means your TA = 0.

Bring the TA up to 50-60 using baking soda and THEN test pH and if needed, raise your pH to around 7.4 using 20 Mule Team Borax.

TA of zero or negative means pH is 4.5 or below.

Immediately add baking soda in 40 ppm TA batches. Test after circulating and brushing for 15 minutes or so. Continue adding until your TA is above 50 ppm.

Then test pH. Add borax if necessary to get it into the 7's.

Address this quickly. Hopefully you already have.
You do not show a heater in your signature. If you do have one, it is being actively destroyed with pH this low.
Also you liner is being damaged. Rapidly.

I did add the baking soda today and will retest tomorrow.
Do NOT have a heater fortunately or unfortunately however you wanna look at it.
Again, appreciate your wisdom.
