Initial Test readings

Just opened the pool yesterday. Very green. Dumped in about 12 litres of liquid chlorine (40,000 litre vinyl pool). Took my first readings this morning (pool is now opaque blue):

FC 27
pH 7.8 ( a bit lower)
CYA 30
CC 3
TC 30
TA 40
CH ... don't know. Did the test & although it turned from pink to clear after about 12 drops, it never turned blue, not even after over 100 drops. Any suggestions about this?

Thanks!

pH test is invalid with FC above 10 ppm.
Not good on your liner to raise your FC above SLAM level, which is 12 ppm with your CYA of 30.

CH test is being effected by the very high FC.

Follow the SLAM Process. You need to let your FC fall below 10 ppm, test pH, adjust to 7.2 (watch your TA, you may need to add some baking soda), then raise your FC to SLAM level and maintain.

So, after a week I have the following readings:

FC 10
pH 7.2
CYA 35 (it has been somewhere between the 30 & 40 all the readings I have taken)
CC 1
TC 11
TA 30
CH 100

We've had a couple inches of rain in the last two days which has probably dropped the pH. The water is clear, but not "crystal clear". There's a fair amount of organic debris going into the pool daily from the "flowers" of the nearby oak tree that I have to clean out a couple of times a day. I notice that I have a bucket of CAL from the pool store & also a half bucket of Trol in my stores.
