Hi. This may seem a daft question I am very new to having a pool. My newly built infinity pool has 1 main drain in the main pool and 1 main drain in the catch basin. If I open both fully the water flow over the edge is too weak. I currently need the basin fully open and main pool 10%. This leaves the main pool open to cloudy water and algae. Is this normal for an infinity pool? I know the water is constantly moving over the edge but is that enough? Should the main pool drain be fully open? TIA

Cloudy water means algae. Algae means your chemistry is not correct, its not a mechanical problem.
