Indoor Cement Pool in Michigan

About five years ago, we bought a house with a 20" x 40" cement swimming pool (inground) and an attached hot tub (also inground). Pool was probably built in the 70s--and then they enclosed the pool in the 80s. About two years ago, based on advice from local pool companies—we painted the pool, switched from city water to well water, and switched from chlorine to bromine. These have turned out to be poor choices. Hoping that going forward we can find solutions that make pool ownership less problematic and expensive.
