Inconsistent Results

I recently purchased the Taylor DPD test kit. I've been getting some inconsistent results from time to time. The pH makes fairly large swings and the alkalinity test is blue, rather than green. Has anyone else had thus happen. Could it be old reagents?

So you have the pink color match chlorine test? That is the one most prone to errors. We recommend the FAS-DPD chlorine test.

What is your FC level? I think that can distort the other tests colors. Check the extended test instructions in pool school.
