I am wondering if anyone can help give me their opinion or experience with overflowing a pool accidentally, which I did like a dummy I realize, with my hose. The now issue is that the liner pulled away resulting in water on both sides of the liner! Is this typical, really even probable from over filling, or more likely due to my recent new liner and installation being defective or done poorly?
Also NOTE: Pool Service Co. who did install of new liner was notified last week that the liner had wrinkles and looked to be pulling from track, which were noticed by the lady who is paid to clean the pool weekly...

Welcome to TFP.

The water behind your liner should get absorbed into the ground unless you have a high water table around the pool.

The liner needs some work on a warm day with hot water to stretch it back into place. Get your Pool Service to do it.
