Hi everyone. I have had this pool since I bought the house 5 years ago. It has always leaked and lost some water, but the last two years have been worse than I can take. Through various trials and errors, I think I have narrowed the source of the leak to the skimmer gaskets and frames. Today I bought two replacement frames, four replacement gaskets, and started the job.
I was surprised to find that behind the frame and the liner but before the skimmer itself, there is a board made of some type of substrate.
Now I am lost and requesting some help. I am guessing that I will need a gasket between the skimmer front and the substrate. It does not appear that this was done when liner was replaced about five to seven years ago. I am guessing this is why I am losing water now.
This will be a tight fit
Thx in advance, Dan
