After I don't know how many countless hours of hard labor and way more money that I expected, I was finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
I filled my brand new intex 15x48 pool and got 2 ft full only to now see water around the legs. It seems to be all the way around.
Does this mean the seam is leaking?! What do I do?!
I'm literally physically and mentally drained over this whole set up and now this! What do I do?!?

Put another inch or two of water in the pool, turn off the water then mark the water level with a piece of masking tape. Check the pool in a 1/2 hour and see if the water level has dropped lower than the tape and by how much. If it has, get in the pool with some food coloring and inspect all the seams. Drop a few drops of food coloring every few inches and watch to see if it flows. If a leak is nearby the dye will flow in the direction of the leak. Watch for the spot the dye is sucked into the liner. That will be the location of the leak, and you can patch it. Also check the pool drain if it has one.

AAAAARRRRGH! I had that happen to my first one, it sucks! Not a lot I could do, took it back and got a new one but that one lasted almost 8 years, took it down and just ordered a new one after the top of the liner started fraying from the sun. But yep, check your fittings if the water is that high yet, maybe it's just the drain plug?

I did the food coloring test and there were tons of spots with leaks - it had to be a defective liner - it was practically all the way around. Luckily I was able to exchange for a new one. I'm a little hesitant even scared to put the next one up, however, it's been a long hard fought battle and I intend to win!!

I bought a pool sealant that works underwater that I think I got it at Leslie's. I was greatly surprised how well it worked. I had a leak around a seam that I found with food coloring.
