Hey guys and gals. I used to be on this site heavy back around 2008. We used to have a intex 15x48 pool.

Fast forward to 2016, and we bought a new house. Haven’t really used the backyard much other than barbecuing and a trampoline for our son.

We bought a Intex 18x48 prism pool that is roughly 6,500 gallons. Just had the ground leveled and put the pool up yesterday. We can’t use it yet because they have to come back out and level one side of the pool.

Being that it’s been so long since I’ve fooled with pools, I have to educate myself all over again🤦‍♂️

One of the questions I have is regarding the 2 preferred test kits. What are the differences between the TFT 100 and the Taylor K2006? They are roughly the same price, but I want to go with the best option.

Welcome back! The TF-100 is hand-packed by the TFtestkits staff with generous amount of Taylor reagents, so it's generally a better value. Remember the K-2006 and 2006C are different in that the "C" version has larger bottles. But my vote is for the TF-100 based on the kit size, shipping, and customer service. Also see the link below for more info.
