ichlor30 salt reading is low

ichlor30 salt reading in pentair sreenlogic is 1500ppm. today's water testing at pool store shows 4500. yesterday it was 5000. i removed about 10" of water yesterday but it only came down to 4500 today. 5 in 1 electronic water tester reads 4200. but ichlor still reads 1500. i checked it for calcium buildup and there was none. any ideas as to why the ichlor30 is not detecting the accurate salt level?
