Ice forming around pool pump

PXL_20240116_161801323.jpgI'm in North Texas and when checking on the pool equipment during our freeze here I noticed that quite a bit of ice formed around the pool pump.
I obviously have a leak, but I'm surprised how big it seems from the amount of ice that formed. I didn't notice much moisture around the pump when I checked it before the freeze.

Any idea if this will cause some serious damage? Is there anything I can do to help the situation? Freeze is supposed to be over tomorrow.

I also noticed that the cover on the pump filter had some ice formed.

O rings can shrink in the cold and leak. That is how we lost the Challenger Space Shuttle.

Once it warms up you can check the pump O rings and replace and lube them as necessary. Not much you can do now with it frozen.

I like that the ice is contained to that area. If it was spraying like a fire hydrant it would be the whole pad.

Hopefully it's just a drip from lid and/or gasket that either fixes itself or is cheap to fix.
