My pool was completed in June and the PB added the salt and "turned on" the SWG a few weeks ago.
I've been testing since then and keep having to add chlorine because there is none. The pool is crystal clear and covered 95% of the time by an auto over, only opened to swim/test.
I don't believe the SWG is making chlorine because the cell light never comes on. I ran the diagnostic function from the cell and everything checks out good. Flow and salt level lights are on and green all the time but that's it.
I went into the settings on the panel and set intellichlor to super chlorinate for 12 hours and only then did the cell light come on.
The PB is not familiar at all with pentair so I'm thinking they've set it up incorrectly but I can't figure out what's missing and why it won't just run. The manual doesn't really give me any hints as to why it doesn't come on.
Pentair VSP running 24/7 still but in the panel the pump status shows NO COMM, does the SWG need to see the pump running to turn on?
