Folks,

Last week I got an email that iAqualink would be doing server maintenance so the system may not work for about 12 hours... odd to me they don't have a backup but I didn't pay much attention. So then day before yesterday nothing would work. Waited 'till well after the time supposed to work again and it still didn't work. So now I'm missing pool time and getting irritated. I notice when I try to use iAqualink app I get a message that has changed... initially it just said they "were performing the maintenance." Then it changed to "we've heard the frustration and and are working hard to fix" then it went to "Some customers have been reconnected and we are working hard to get everybody else on". And finally it added a customer service phone number. I called the number, went through several messages and "press x" to finally get to a message that indicated you MAY have to log out then log back in... this solved my problem. Would have been nice if this was the message on the initial pop up window on the app!

So if any of you are still having this issue, try logging out and re-logging in.

I hope this helps.

Chris

Thanks Chris. We had a whole thread on the outage this week. One of the series of messages zodiac displayed (this one on April 3rd) said Log Out was required, so they tried. Of course, that didn't permanently fix the problem and I'm not sure they continued to display this message over the extended downtime. Bottom line, this days-long outage was a complete snafu!

THANK YOU! The idiots at Zodiac never messaged or communicated that a re-log might be necessary. After multiple frustrating days of no connectivity, this worked for me!

Really disappointed by Zodiac's lack of professionalism and long downtime. If I were in Zodiac management, I would likely fire incompetent staff that led to this debacle and erosion of brand goodwill.

I wish there was another option available on market for pool control/automation that was app-driven.

Sounds like an awkward system. My previous pool was a Pentair pool and their screen logic system works, even when your internet is down. You just have to be connected to your home wifi of course, but the system still works locally...

Folks,

This is really weird. I'm on the way to Miami from St Maarten on the plane using wifi internet and mine is working fine. I even watched it switch off the SWG at the correct time. The only thing I'm doing different is sipping my Jack Daniel's on the rocks. Wife want the pool warm when we get back so I also kicked on the heat. Maybe you should try to serve up a drink?

Chris

PS I know is frustrating and what I posted is actually true... if it's a server problem the only thing I have had any success with is calling tech support next business day. Not a lot of help for your weekend and I"m so sorry you're having this frustrating issue!
