My pool company opened my pool and discovered the motor is corroded and dead. I purchased this pump in 2019. I would like to replace the motor rather than the entire pump, especially as I will be selling my home within the next year. Unfortunately, what I've found online is that Pentair no longer manufactures the replacement motor for this pump model. Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket replacement motor that is compatible with this pump?
Thank you!

JamesW I can't thank you enough. I really appreciate your help.

I've decided to order the

Century (A.O. Smith) 1.5 HP Full Rate Motor (Total HP 2.20), Square Flange 48Y Frame, Dual Speed - Model SQS1152R

My only problem at this point is I don't know what seals and gaskets kit to order with this motor. A lot of listings on various websites list the compatible GO-kit but this one does not. Do you know what kit goes with this motor or where I can look it up? I tried looking it up on inyopools.com but I could not identify any seals or gaskets, by kit or sold separately, that were specified for this particular motor replacement model.
Thank you again!

JamesW I can't thank you enough. Prior to posting I spent 2 hrs. searching for the correct replacement motor but it was extremely difficult just to know what parts were compatible. I don't believe I would have ever been able to locate the information you posted. I ordered my motor and the appropriate seals and gaskets per the info you provided. Being able to do this myself will save me $2200 as my pool servicing company will only replace the entire pump; they will not replace the motor alone. Very grateful. Thank you again.
