Liquid Chlorine
I already started the slam process, but I can't tell it might be pollen, clay (our soil around us is mostly clay), or actual algae.

I have tried backwashing, cleaning the filter, but it still comes back. I don't have a waste option so I'm thinking of buying a vacuum and see if that works.

I did the overnight test and it passed
FC 18
CC 0
PH 7.4
CYA 45
I do have those pressure heads that push water which might explain the position of the debris, also some segments of the wall have it.

The first picture is the one before slamming, and the one with the waterfall is of today

What type of test kit do you use for these results?
It is recommended to round up CYA to the higher decade so that would be 50. SLAM level FC is 20ppm for CYA of 50.
Since you have a plaster pool, did you test CH and TA?
Also, pH results can be skewed when FC is >10ppm unless you are using a pH probe meter.

If you passed the Overnight Chlorine Loss Test that indicates that there is no active algae.
Do you have lots of wind blowing debris into the pool?

I use the taylor kit k-2005
I didn't test CH before slamming I did like a month ago and it was in the 400s.

TA was at 100
I forgot to mention the PH test was done before slamming.

I have grass around but this dirt has persistent for almost 6 months but I always assumed it was just dirt

This test kit does not have the FAS/DPD test for FC. how are you measuring FC?
It does not hurt to SLAM but with 0 CC and OCLT is =1 or <1 then those indicate no active algae. The pool looks clear other than for "stuff" on bottom.
Vacuum it out and see if it returns.
Oh sorry I meant K-2006C so I use the powder which is the r0870

Include your test kit model and be specific on model of pump, filter, etc. Thanks.
Sorry about that, I already updated it hopefully everything is good.
