Hydrostatic Drain Plug Removal

Any tips on removing a Hayward Hydrostatic Drain Plug in a gunite pool. Have the Hayward tool its just slips off and is on apparently really tight.

Link? Added an PVC extension to the Hayward tool which barley rises above the drain opening... leaving little room for leverage. Will try that in a bit then if not will custom fab a metal removal tool with a real "T" handle.

You are wanting to take the plug out because....
