Hi there,

I have been using the Home Depot HDX liquid chlorine for a while now. But it is becoming increasingly more challenging to find in the store. I came across HTH liqud chlorine. Does anyone have experience using the HTH liquid chlorine for the main source of chlorine? I've had very mixed results with HTH products in the past.

Thank you,

See this post that was put earlier. Ensure it has Sodium Hypochlorite in it.

I’m using HTH 10% LC… it is LC… just make sure it is not sitting on the self too long and is not exposed to direct sunlight (some stores just don’t care if they are damaging the product they sell).

In term of LC you just need to be aware of how old it is, ensure has not additives and if it is indeed LC (there are some companies advertising cal-hypo and dichlor as “instant liquid chlorine”, what is obviously false) .

When I started my SLAM a little over a week ago, I found HTH 10% LC at Ace Hardware (about $4.99/gal in Dallas). Then I switched to WalMart which had 10% LC a bit cheaper. The HTH seemed to work fine, although I was at my early stage of SLAM and had a long way to go.
