Howdy, New Member, Cibolo TX

I go by Jim. I retired from the Navy in 2005 as an E-8. I probably spent 13 out of 23 Navy years deployed and away from my family, mostly FA-18 Hornets and P-3 squadrons and aircraft carriers. I'm a decent backyard auto mechanic and do a lot of handyman work around the house. I've read a lot of posts on this site and it seems like a no-brainer that I should join in.

I bought a house with my first in-ground pool in 2017 here in Cibolo. I've had above-ground pools at two other houses in the past. I'm hoping that all the folks here will help me become a smart in-ground pool owner/maintainer. Hopefully I'll be of some help too. Looking forward to our discussions!

This method is based on science, not sales of chemicals to keep a pool store open. We use only that which is needed and nothing more. Pool testing by the owner is the backbone of our method.
