Howdy! I’m a first time pool owner in Austin, Texas. Our pool was built by Acquatic Reflections in Austin, TX, and was handed off to us in May of 2023. I joined Trouble Free Pool on a recommendation from a friend shortly thereafter, but I never took the time to introduce myself or my pool. I’m rectifying that now.

Here’s a few photos of the pool from the early days:



Specifications:

• 14’x26’ Faux infinity edge pool with spa, beach, and steps
• 286 sq ft surface area, 7,200 gal volume, 3.5’ to 5’ deep
• Materials: Gunite and Plaster with PebbleTec Coating, Ceramic Tile and Leuder Limestone Coping
• Equipment: Paramount PCC2000 In-Floor Cleaning System, Pentair IntelliFlow VS (3 hp), Clean & Clear Plus Cartridge Filter (420 sq ft), Rainbow Chlorinator, Clear 03 + Ultra UV Filter, MasterTemp 400 BTU Heater and Temperature Sensor

The pool equipment resides approximately 15 feet below the pool elevation.

Lack of value. A real infinity edge essentially required another pool. We got most of the effect we were looking for with the faux edge, avoiding the significant costs of adding another pool, pump, etc.

Not really; it's just a catch basin or trough.

In any case, you have a great pool.
