How would you fix this plumbing?

So I had permanent electrical run out to the pump last year (with a ground around the pool), however, they used the existing plumbing I had and you can see the return to the pool was dangling.

How would you fix this so that it's more rigid? Would you do a couple 45 turns down to the ground with PVC and then hook up to the blue return hose at the ground?

What would you replace the translucent pipe with in between the pump/filter?

Thanks!

I would take a 3" PVC T and cut it lengthwise to create a saddle. Then put a piece of PVC in the T to support the return pipe.

That is a GREAT idea! Thank you!
