I am on the fence on whether to get a robotic cleaner or not. Our pool is screened in so we don't get too much stuff. But I’m a bit OCD and and brushing is my least favorite part of pool maintenance. In addition to brushing, every once in a while, I stir things up with our swim jets and adjust the valves to drain vs skimmer every so often the take care of the settled stuff now and then. I have only vacuumed a half dozen times since the pool was built about a year ago and like that less than brushing. From reading here it sounds like the Dolphin S-200 or 300 series are highly thought of. But how would they handle these features. The swim resistance jets, raised drains, steps, swimouts etc? I don't mind brushing the sides or steps if needed. Here are some pic examples of these features.

Thanks, Ken

The drains should be no issue. The lower step may get at least disturbed. The upper steps and swimout will not get touched if water depth is lower than about 16".

Thanks, Will it loose suction/traction and flip over on the swim jets while doing the deep end walls?

I doubt it. The robot I have does not use suction to climb the walls. It uses water jet on top of unit to stay on wall.
