I built this out of PVC last year and filled it with sand. I didn't realize how buoyant PVC is itself.
It floats when I toss it in the pool. Oops. Last year out of frustration I put four paving stones on the bottom of the frame to keep it from moving. It took 120lbs of concrete before it was stable. Any ideas as to how to best weigh this down? The pavers can trap particles and can get pretty nasty after a season. My current idea is to hang a half dozen sand bags from the rails using nylon?
12k gallons, vinyl, DE filter, chlorine.
This laps about 2 inches under the top of the water so that my dogs have a stable platform to jump in, climb out, and lay down. It's all PVC, pvc planks, and SS316 hardware.
