Hello,
I just needed advice on what material or how to repair the broken grout in the coping tile that tile is located on the spillway from the Jacuzzi.
I am assuming this happen because of the constant water flow over this area.

Just looking on advice for how to repair this and what type of material to use.
Thank you

Thank you for the reply, chemistry is good

That is more than the patching problem of cracks I need to do.

Looks to me like the stones may have shifted and that is more of a crack that formed then where grout was.

@bdavis466 @MinerJason what would you use there? Epoxy grout? Mortar?

The stone has more than likely delaminated from the spa dam wall. Type S mortar (which was probably used) is easily and rather quickly eroded when submerged. It is a very poor choice for that application.

A pool grade thinset would be a better choice with an epoxy grout
