How to remove pressure gauge Waterway DE filter

The pressure gauge on my Waterway Eliminator DE filter is stuck at 12psi and doesn't move. I want to remove it to see if I can clean it out or replace it. I don't see how to remove it. It is surrounded by a plastic shroud. I could grab the outer edges of the face and try to screw it out, but I don't want to break it. Anyone have any experience with these? Thanks.

Looking at the replacement gauge, it looks like it just screws in. You should be able to twist the at the metal bezel to remove. Do you have the replacement gauge?

Thanks. I don't have the replacement gauge. I was going to remove this one to see if I could just clean it first.

Wait til you have the gauge in hand in case it breaks.
