Hey folks, I need some help figuring out what the problem is with my pool pumps.

There has been a constant stream of water to the waste line even when the multiport valve was in filter or recirculation mode. It’s not a leak but a stream of water strong enough to cause a crack in the exit valve. I thought it was the spider gasket, but the replacement did not resolve the issue.
The other problem is the pump doesn’t draw enough water in filter mode. I cleaned the DE filter but it only helped a little bit. When in recirculation mode though, it draws enough water.
Should I replace the multiport valve at this point? Anything else I could try to diagnose the problem here?

It may be more cost-effective to do so. By the time you replace all internal parts (gasket, key diverter, o-rings, springs, etc), a new valve is worth it.
