How to empty my pool

Hi all,
I have an Intex 15x48 prism frame pool that I'm replacing next week with a 18x52 XTR frame pool. Heres my problem, the drain plug on the old pool somehow got rotated down to where It can't be used to hook up a water hose and drain. The only thought I have had is rent a sump pump. I was wondering if anyone else had any ideas?

Rent a pump or buy a utility submersible pump. Having one comes in handy when you have a pool.
