How to deal with very little dead algae on pool floor during SLAM?

I am a new pool owner that has been SLAMing my pool since opening it. The results are looking really promising so far - my overnight chlorine loss last night was < 1 and my CC is < 0.5. That being said, throughout the day there are small bits of dead algae still showing up on my pool floor. By the definition of SLAM, I know that I'm not done yet (though hopefully this means I'm in the home stretch given how small the pieces are). I've added two pictures to show how little it actually is for reference - it typically appears in the seams on my liner.

My question is - how should I go about removing this algae? Should I just brush it up, vacuum it to filter or vacuum it to waste?

So far I've just been brushing it away (it leaves a brown cloud when I do and disappears) but I'm not sure if I'm seeing the same algae coming back or if it is new dead algae appearing.

Brush the pool to churn it up and see how much gets filtered out.

Run your pool cleaner, if you have one, to capture stuff that settles to the floor.
