How to convince my wife and FIL that BBB is the way to go

I will heed that advice and keep quiet especially around my father in law. He has thrown down the ultimatum that if I use bleach he will not swim in my pool! I will save the remaining pucks for when we are going to be away from home or I run short on bleach.

Just make sure to leave the empty puck container laying around the poolside as though you consistently use it :lol:

Soon you will see with the BBB method that you control the pool instead of it controlling you!

I suggest that you do not try to tell FIL he has not been maintaining his pool correctly for 3 decades; it could lead to a frosty Thanksgiving meal.

Hey, there is your chance. Hang the empty bleach bottles around the edge of the pool. Like warding off a vampire with garlic.

Again, some really great responses to my question. I especially like the idea of hanging the bleach bottles from the side of the pool. Maybe I can use them to hold down the winter cover!!!

Thanks everyone for the responses and Steve, I have learned never to tell my FIL he isn't doing something right. Last time I did, not only was Thanksgiving frosty, but Christmas, Easter, and even Presidents Day were even colder...
