I have a Pentair boost-rite pump that clearly has something jamming up the impeller. I can use a screwdriver on the back end to rotate the shaft and can feel the jam. I can even free it temporarily, but within 1-2 min it jams again. Can I simply unbolt the front housing, clean the impeller, and screw back together or are there any types of 1 time use o rings or parts that I will need on-hand before doing this? I just wasn’t sure of the proper procedure.

Four bolts shoudl remove the pump body.

That pump has a multi-stage impeller.

You may want to have the O-Ring kit on hand.
