How do you guys add calcium ? I have been desolving it in a 5 gallon bucket with water. Letting the exothermic reaction take place and pouring it slowly in front of jets. I brush the pool until it’s distributed. Is there a better way ?

What @mknauss said...but for others that do need to add calcium broadcast it across the deep end. It should dissolve before it hits the bottom. If any hits the bottom, brush for a short period of time, it will dissolve quickly...
So for those with vinyl pools but heaters how does this change things?
