How often to replace filters in robot cleaners?

I've had a SharkVac for going on 4 yours now. The filters get so dirty so quickly even when I clean them after every use, the pleats just have a tendency to pick things up that aren't easily washed out. I don't use a pressure washer but I do use a narrow nozzle on my hose gun.

How often do you usually find yourself replacing these? I'm trying to figure out if it's normal to replace them every year or should I be replacing them more/less often?

Soak them in a solution of TSP (trisodium phosphate) every now and then. I'm on year 4 of my Maytronics S300 and it hasn't even occurred to me to replace my original filters.

I have 4 sets for my Robot. I use 2 sets for the early season rotating them out and then switch to the other 2 sets once pollen/tree debris season passes. This seems to work well for me.
