Just got my pool refinished and have decided going forward to test and maintain it myself. It's a salt water pool. I got the Taylor 2006 kit and salt kit. Today was my first time using the test kit. It was a bit intimidating but I know the more I do it, the more comfortable I'll get. My ph and TA were high. My pool contractor told me to expect this. My question is when you test and get out of range results and then add chemicals, do you then test again 1× a day until you are in good ranges and then you go to 1x weekly testing?

I test FC & Ph pretty much daily
TA when I need to after acid additions
CH weekly just so I can TRY to keep my csi in check.
