I love this site! I have a few extra big zip ties that have now found a use!

I've picked up quite a few tips on the forum. Members sharing various ideas often leads to another method to try. If something works for you, you're golden.

I ended up tying a nylon string/cord from the basket handle to the skimmer cover hole. When I lift the skimmer cover, the string comes with it and I'm able to lift the basket without touching the water.
