How much foam is too much?

I am purchasing a 24'x54" Saltwater 8000 AG Round Pool from the Pool Factory with a 30 gauge unibead liner
I am getting the pool cove and the wall foam but am also looking into a Gorilla Pad, as well as foam board. Is this overkill?
If it were you, which of these (or any other suggestions) would you use?

Thank you!

When I put a new liner in mine two seasons ago, I went with wall foam and cove, with no bottom pad.

The easy answer - foam cove, that is a no brainer to me. So easy to use, and such great results.

Wall foam - meh. I guess it's nice. It is a bit of a PITA to get in place smoothly, especially if it is windy. I really don't think it does much as far as both comfort and heat retention. I don't think I would do it again.

Bottom foam. I will put something on the bottom next time. I spent a LOT of time going over the sand base. Picking out any small rocks, compacting it, leveling it, etc. I still have divots (your heels make them) and one rock under the liner that drives me crazy (I am waiting for it to puncture the floor. It's still OK going on the third season now.)

Bottom foam on top of sand. Make sure to triple tape the bottom foam to keep the liner from making a gap. People use the house foam for the bottoms. The wall foam can be a pain down the road if is slips loose.
