How important is the max 32oz every 4 hours rule for acid?

I got my water tested at Leslies. On the sheet they gave me today it says Max dose of acid is 32oz at one time. It says to wait 4 hours for the next 32oz should it need more than 32. I'm just wondering how hard and fast that rule is? Ideally I'd like to be able to pour the needed amount at one time and be done with it instead of coming back every 4 hours. Currently I do follow the 32 per 4 hours rule but was wondering if there would be negative consequences from adding total amount in one sitting?

Is this a hard rule? As in that's their rule for a 2000 gallon and a 200,000 gallons pool alike? Or do they actually adjust it based on your water volume?

Because sure, for your 20,000 gallon pool and if you're using full strength MA then that's about 0.4 pH change and a reasonable rule of thumb. But is that by accident, or do they actually adjust it based on the pool and MA strength being used? I'm curious now. I'd love to give them the benefit of the doubt and that they're finally doing something reasonable, but I am rarely rewarded for giving such benefit to a pool store.

So there’s this bridge that my family owns in Kings County NY called Da’ Brooklyn Bridge. We’ve been looking for someone to sell it to … you seem like a savvy guy, how about you PM me mì paisano and we’ll talk price ….
