How do I fix this hydrazzo installation?

I just had my pool replastered with hydrazzo. The installer didn’t polish it. There are white streaks all over the pool and boot prints as well. They won’t come up with brushing. I’ve had the pool full for about 3 days now. I’m really upset about the streaks boot prints and I don’t know what to do.

We are going to try a “hot start” and I will update with pictures.

What does the manufacturer of Hydrazzo say? Was the plaster applicator a qualified installer for the product? If the product requires polishing, then it should be polished.

Note 2 says in part - “The beauty of Hydrazzo® is that it can be re-acid washed and polished if proper start-up is not followed.

So if your installer won’t follow the proper startup procedures AND if you truly got Hydrazzo product, then CLI should honor their warranty and send someone out qualified to do the polishing procedure.

Work with your plaster installer first and try to be as reasonable as you can. You paid for the Hydrazzo product and they should make good on the finish …

I'm sorry about the streaks but it still looks AMAZING. Big blue rectangles are my jam.

Also, you're back up and running. Please fill out your Signature.
