I have an IC30, which is going south. It has functioned w/ no lights on for a few weeks, but now i'm starting to not have chlorine (at 1PPM now). From what i've read, it makes sense to upgrade to an Intellichlor 40 because IC30 is not great.
Assuming i already have all of the electronics hooked up (because i have an ic30), and i am handy enough to take it apart and clean it, and hook it back up, how difficult is it to install a new Intellichlor40?
I understand there is a bit of PVC work to be done, which doesn't scare me. But from an operational perspective, hypothetically if i can get an IC40, do i just hook the power cable up (my understanding is same power cable, same power unit), and connect in its place*? Mainly asking if there are any nuances, onboard electronics setup etc.
*Again, i'll have to get PVC to fit.
