Hottub water cloudy after PH.

Hi all,

My water was crystal clear this morning but noticed the PH was a bit low. I guess I added more than necessary because it went very purple on my Taylor test kit (I assume over 8). The water got very cloudy.

I used a PH decreased and got it down to normal levels, but the water is still very cloudy.

Alkaline 60
Calcium 220
Chlorine 3

Should I just run the jets for a day? Or do I need to drain and refill?

Let things settle down for a day or two and see if the water clears.

The sudden pH rise caused stuff to precipitate out of the water.

I was testing the CH and noticed the little speckles which are causing the clouding. I'll let it sit as suggested but it's looking bleak

How much and what did you add?

Hot tub volume?

3500 liters... fiberglass. I added PH increaser.
I had eyeballed it, unfortunately. Lesson learnt. The Taylor kit goes up to 8 but I would guess mine was probably 9-10. I brought it down to normal quickly after with decreaser. I'm thinking I should just drain to be safe
