Hot tub Filter Cleaning

Good afternoon folks,

We have a South Seas 533DL Spa. I was wondering what filter cleaner you all recommend. I've googled all I care to google, and I can't seem to make an informed decision.

I do have a spare filter, after I take out the filter in the spa and I rinse it off with the hose, can I just let it sit in the cleaner until I change the other on out again?
I rinse my filter off every week and want to clean it with a cleaner every 3 or 4 months.

I use about a 1/3 cup of Oxy Clean in 5 Gal of water and let them soak 24 hours. Then I rinse, dry, and store. You don't want to store them in the cleaning solution.
