HLS and Service heater but heater runs fine

Good day Gents,
After finally replacing my blower assembly on my Starite maxetherm 333k, the unit is once again operational and heating the pool. However since replacement, I am getting the "service heater" light and the High Limit Switch" LED on the control panel, but the heater runs fine without issue. When I've had this issue in the past the unit will almost immediately go into ignition lockout, but now it's running normally, but with both lights active. The HLS is closed, filter psi is 18, stack temp from my heat gun is 280. Any insight is appreciated.

You have done a lot of work and the heater is not safe if it is running with error lights and error codes.

Probably a defective Circuit Board, maybe improper wiring, maybe jumpered sensors etc.

Shut it off until a proper repair can be done.

Thanks Gents. I think I found it. The HLS was closed this am when I checked and it is now showing open with water temp at 80d F (at the manifold outlet.) That doesn't explain why the heater is still running, but does explain the HLS LED. No sensors are jumpered currently and I don't think wiring can be more simple for these units. The on off switch on the gas valve shouldnt effect HLS as it's just a simple switch with no secondary function other than to prevent the gas valve from opening when in the off position. The PCB is definitely suspect. I replaced it awhile back with one if those cheapies that everyone recommends against buying...its worked fine for quite awhile, two heating seasons I think, but that'll be the next replacement. Or I can just tap out and get a new heater... I'm not quite there yet. Thanks again.
