Getting ready for another swimming season in Illinois. Opened 2 days ago F/C was 0 added 1 gallon of 12.5% per pool math. CYA was 10 or less so added acid per pool math using the sock method, almost finished with that. PH is 7.8, T/A is 120. Just checked F/C is 9. Water is crystal clear. So heres my question, recommend levels indicate a T/A of 50 to 90+. So is my T/A too high? Thanks all.

Slightly longer answer ... You can generally ignore TA and just focus on keep the pH in range.
