Hey everyone- I am new to testing and have begun getting the hang of my Taylor kit and chemicals myself. My salt has been about 3100/3200 when I test but my chlorine is super low. I have my hayward salt cell set about 20%. Looking for advice to handle chlorine. Is the best action to turn my salt cell off and use LC to manage? PH had also been high but correcting that. I’m in Vegas and it’s been very hot lately. Thanks all!

Raise your FC using liquid chlorine to the target level based on your CYA - FC/CYA Levels
Set your SWCG to generate 4 ppm FC per day. Use PoolMath Effects of Adding Chemicals.

The cell only makes the amount of Chlorine that you tell it to make. It has no idea how big your pool is or how long you plan to run the pump.
You have to be its brain and tell it what to do.
This means that you need to know what to do. Tell us the size of your pool, in gallons, and tell us what cell you have and what it is rated for.
