my salinity is on a higher side, and I am draining and diluting as I am posting this, but...
I run pool 8:30-8:30, I run Polaris 280 8:45-11:15. had these settings for 14 seasons now.
salt cell 2 yrs old. produces normal chlorine.
while Polaris is running and, maybe an hour or two after , the salinity level alarms critical high...after 1-2 pm goes back to normal reading for the rest of the day... difference in readings about 500-600ppm salt
checked salinity sensor inside the salt cell vessel, clean...
also, wanted to see if the sensor and panel actually work, so when the level reads critical high and gives me 4300-4400, I would run a hose into the skimmer, and salinity does go down as it senses fresh water coming in...
any thoughts?
