I thought I was supposed to open the skimmer full and the main half?
I have my set that the skimmer is 80% and main drain 20% but every set up is a little different - so you can partially open the main drain and have the skimmer wide open. This allows majority of suction to be from skimmer and a minimal amount of suction from main drain to keep all lines open.

I would try this. with that valve on the right CLOSED - put your hand in front of every return in the both the pool and spa and note which has flow. Then OPEN that valve and do the same to see what flow is coming from every return in pool and spa.

You mentioned there is less flow from the spa so how many returns in spa have flow coming from them.

The reason I ask that, is that your main valve to the SPA - the one on the left is not visible because it is facing the heater. Take a picture of that so we can see if that valve is open or closed.
The valve is half way open and there are 6 jets going into the spa and 6 going into the pool. The 6 into the spa have little pressure and four of the 6 in the pool have great pressure. 2 of them (in the pool have no pressure)
I opened the right valve again and it completely turned off the jets in the spa but there is like a catching pool before the pool that is going full force now. Strange….

Thanks for the picture and the additional info. It may be best if you can post a picture of your overall pool, ensure it shows this basin and also the larger water feature.

With regard to the return pipes. That valve that is partially open which controls flow between the spa and the pool is set in an overflow position. Basically, it is feeding some water to the spa such that it flows over into the pool. This keeps your spa water sanitized with the rest of your pool. However, it does not need to be on constantly unless you wish to have the spa overflowing into the pool. You may have an automation system (either an app on your phone or a control panel in your home) that can be set to schedule this overflow feature. You only need to move water through your spa an hour or 2 a day to keep it fresh. If you have automation, please take a picture of that panel. It would on a wall next to your equipment.

The overflow feature is why you have return flow to the 6 jets in the spa. They only have minimal pressure because the valve is only partially open. Also, the pressure & flow to the spa jets declined when you opened up that valve to the far right that fed flow to the basin. That was expected because your flow is now to 3 different pipes - the spa, the pool and to the basin. Not sure what the basin is there for other than a mini-water feature into your pool. The photo of the overall pool would help.

The 6 returns to your pool with only 4 putting good pressure and 2 are not. Just to confirm - do all 6 have some sort FLOW but it is higher in 4 and much less in 2? Or are the 2 with ZERO flow? This could indicate a couple of different scenarios. I think one of those none working returns is your suction for the cleaner. Or can you identify that the cleaner is hooked up to a different port? The other non-functioning return could be an overflow feature that keeps your pool water at a set height. But this return would be near your water level and not 18 inches below the water level. Again, some photos of these 2 non-flowing returns and an overview of the pool may help. On your photo, please identify which 2 returns are not working and the position of the 4 returns that are working. A picture of a sketch of your pool with those notations would suffice. The other scenario would be that you have a blocked return - but hopefully that is not the issue because most return lines on built on a loop - so the 4 or 6 returns act as one pipe and the only way to isolate one is to put a cap on the return in the pool wall fitting. So, to rule that out, verify that all 6 returns are open or have no cap in them. Also confirm if they are all at the same relative depth below the water level.

Sorry to create so many action items but need that info to try to narrow down the conditions that could be causing this.

Thank you, again!
So the two jets in the pool have no pressure. They are all at the same level… and I just opened the cleaner valve and one of those is the cleaner! So there is only one not accounted for. I will mark that in the picture.
I also noticed that for whatever reason the pressure is higher again today. Main valve is again not open…. 459A05F6-C486-42F1-9F71-25FF93FE7A1F.jpeg

Thanks for pictures. Very happy that you figured out one of the openings was for the suction cleaner.
I am not sure why the other is not flowing, assuming it is not capped off. Does the return look just like the other returns that are flowing? Can you adjust the nozzle in multiple directions? Just trying to determine if anything could have floated up the pipe during the Hurricane.

With regard to pressure of the filter, since you do not know the pressure before the storm, it is difficult to say for certain there is a problem. As indicted earlier, you have a small filter and a single speed pump, so the pressure you are seeing is what the system is. Your plumbing shows you have the return plumbing full open and even diverting some flow to the spa for spillover effect. You have 4 returns providing good flow to the pool.

The picture of the automation system shows to be a Jandy AquaLink. You may want to update your signature with that info. Do you have a panel inside or do you control it with a handheld device or a phone with the iAquaLink app? We can discuss program schedules if you need help on that or want to stop the spa spillover on a constant basis.

In the picture I see 3 places where there are rocks as part of the coping leading to the pool. You indicated the one between the pool and the spa has a bubbler in it when you open the valve on that return pipe. Do you use that feature much? Do the other 2 rock features have any flow returns or water feature?

I see the main water feature flows into the spa, which eventually flows into the pool. That is unique as you do not see many designs such as that. It looks great.

Thank you so so much! I am was mostly worried about the pressure but I would agree that it was probably alway the case we just didn’t know.
We have never used that little catch basin, I didn’t even know I could turn on that bubble thing 🤣 there is a waterfall going into the spa and an air blower feature which we also almost never use.
We have a panel inside the house to turn on or off all the little things…. I’m ok with whatever it’s doing.
I cannot thank you enough for your patience and all the explanations you have given me!!!
