High Phosahates

My pool is clear but I keep getting areas that grow what looks like green algea. Even with high chlorine levels, it returns within a few days.

I have raised the Alkalinity and also shocked the pool. Current choline levels are really high. My Phosphates are 1305 according to leslies and they suggested phosphate remover. Will this fix my problem?

Thanks for helping out.

Usually with a Taylor DPD test kid but havent been on top of it much recently as I have been too busy
Going forward, It takes less effort and less money to actually spend a little time on the pool. The inevitable SLAM that ensues will destroy whatever time you thought you saved. Once it's part of your schedule, taking care of the pool is second nature and couldn't be easier.

Anywho, what's done is done and you have algae. If you SLAM Processwhile the water is still clear, it will be an easier battle.

Thanks, I will look into that!
Also, your chlorine is not very high if your CYA is 50ppm, but nobody believes the Leslie’s test results so try testing with your own kit and go from there. Your SLAM level for chlorine would be 24ppm if the CYA is really 50ppm.
