High ph but ok TA

Any suggestions. I experience high ph levels +8.0 but have a very stable TA at 70

Very difficult all last season to keep ph 7.6. Added muriatic acid weekly.

Opening pool. these are the readings to start. Added salt yesterday.

Adding acid weekly is normal. Many folks have to add acid 2 or 3 times a week when their pH gets to 8.

I’ve got a new plater pool I probably put a quart in 2-3 times a week.

First order of the day is getting the pH down to 7.2 and start a slam and bring the CYA up to 30. With CC of 0 your water is probably clear and won't be long till your first swim.
