"0125", I haven't been following your thread, but I'll try to assist. First, if you are using the 5ml water sample as a temp measure to save on reagent, no more than one scoop of powder. That is plenty and won't cause a high FC reading. Your cell is on max output. Is that what you are intending? While it's still a bit warm in TX, the sun's angle is lower, so you might need to lower that output. Unless you are doing a SLAM for algae, have you considered turning the cell off for a day or so? Let that FC drop down to about 10 or so at least?Ya'll, I'm so frustrated. I've done all the things to perform the most accurate test and my FC is at 35. Should I be adding less of the DPD powder, if I'm just doing a 5mL test? My panel still shows 0% on the intellichlor, but the actual intellichlor equipment is completely lit up.
No, I wasn't intending max output on my cell. Previously, when I tried the buttons, they weren't doing anything. Even had my pool builder guy was out here a while back and he couldn't figure it out. However, since you had mentioned it, I tried the buttons again -- and they are working!! Wondering if I had to change the salt output to 0% of the panel to get the buttons on the SWG working? Dunno, but happy that I tried again. My FC is finally going down. I'm at 17, so I'm HAPPY!!"0125", I haven't been following your thread, but I'll try to assist.
