My borate level is 80 and the ph is 6.5 and total alkalinity 80. Should I still use borax to raise ph?

Why is your water so acidic in the first place....can you post a full set of test results including the pH/TA/CH of your fill water?

Don’t sweat 80ppm borates, it’s not going hurt anyone. Though depending on your other test results you may be dumping water anyway.
How did it get so high and how did you test it? If that's from a pool store, I wouldn't even trust the pH reading let alone the borate.
