I know TFP recommends levels of alkalinity to be lower than pool stores - I’ve struggled all summer keeping it below 120-125. Today it’s 125 and ph is 7.6
It’s a vinyl liner and we don’t have much summer left. Is it ok to leave it at 120-125. When the ph gets to 8 I add in ph down ( I’m afraid of muriatic acid). We swim a lot and no problems with itchy skin. Also I have no way to aerate, I’m not a handy woman, and if it’s not a critical thing I prefer to just ride out summer.

No issue. In your situation, pH is important, TA is what it is.

Keep pH in the 7’s.

With out a SWCG and the fact you drain to winterize, dry acid is fine. Expensive, but fine to use.
